Meet Kansas City Bankruptcy Attorney Christopher J. Cusack
Kansas City bankruptcy attorney Christopher Cusack was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico. After graduating high school, Chris attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Economics in 2004. After completing his undergraduate degree, Chris worked as a Revenue Analyst for a technology company in Seattle, Washington.
Chris attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington and earned his Juris Doctor in 2011. During law school, Christopher clerked with a civil litigation firm, was a law clerk in a corporate legal department, interned with the Gonzaga University Legal Assistance Clinic, and had a judicial internship with the Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. After graduating from law school, Chris worked as an associate attorney with a small debtor oriented bankruptcy firm in Spokane, Washington.
In 2013, Chris moved to Kansas City to pursue a LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation. He enrolled at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law, receiving his LL.M. in 2014. After obtaining his LL.M., Chris worked in the finance industry – providing his clients with wealth management and investment advice.
A Focus on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
Chris joined The Sader Law Firm in 2017. As a fourth-generation attorney, he is committed to helping people resolve their financial issues in a legal and practical manner. His practice primarily focuses on consumer Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
Christopher, his wife, and their daughter live in Liberty, Missouri. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, cooking, and college basketball. Christopher loves getting outside with his family, and is passionate about fly fishing and exploring the outdoors.
