Meet Kansas City Bankruptcy Lawyer David C. Murdick
Kansas City bankruptcy attorney David C. Murdick was born and raised in Independence, Missouri. He graduated from Fort Osage High School before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He completed five deployments to various locations throughout the Middle East and Europe, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. While in the Air Force, David graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with honors. He then went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Newman University.
After almost 10 years in the Air Force, David went to work in the private sector for Castle Metals. He left to pursue his lifelong goal of becoming a lawyer and enrolled at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, where he was awarded his Juris Doctor in May 2011. During law school, David interned with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service and the Jackson County Counselor’s Office. He also served as a staff member for The Urban Lawyer and was recognized by the faculty for his outstanding skills during Oral Argument.
David enjoys golfing, riding his bike and reading. David and his wife, Valerie, have three children, including twin girls. The Murdicks reside in Blue Springs, Missouri.
