Meet Elisa D. Waldman

A Kansas City Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyer

After graduating from the George Washington University National Law Center in Washington D.C. in 1993, Elisa, an experienced Kansas City consumer and business attorney, returned to the Kansas City area to practice law. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation, contract law and general business counsel.

Prior to joining The Sader Law Firm, this qualified Kansas City bankruptcy lawyer practiced law with King Burke Hershey Farchmin & Schlomann in Kansas City, concentrating in the areas of land use, zoning and commercial real estate. Elisa has also served as the Advocacy Manager for the Academy of General Dentistry, a large dental trade association in Chicago, and as a professor of legal research and writing at DePaul University Law School.   

In addition to practicing law, Elisa owned and operated a retail pottery store in Overland Park, Kansas for eight years, providing her with hands-on business experience. She also works as a consultant for the Kansas Small Business Development Center, helping entrepreneurs and small business owners to start and grow their businesses.

Elisa is currently a national Director of the Contemporary Ceramic Studio Association, and she has served as a member of the Congregation Beth Torah Board of Directors, the Kansas City Jewish Community Relations Bureau Board of Directors and the Village Shalom Associate Board. 

Elisa and her husband, Stuart, have two children and enjoy watching movies and traveling.
